Katherine’s recent highlights include the title role in The Dallas Opera Education and Outreach Program’s production of The Little Prince and Guenevere in Upright Theatre Company’s production of Camelot. Past roles include Little Mary Sunshine in Little Mary Sunshine, Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro, Laeticia in The Old Maid and the Thief, Angelina in Trial by Jury, and Despina in Così fan tutte.
Katherine’s concert credits include collaborations with the Dallas Winds, Dallas Philharmonic Choir, Austin Chamber Music Center, and Sarah Brightman.
Spellmon received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University.
